HILB ROGAL & HOBBS OF CT ("HRHCT") DOES NOT COLLECT OR RETAIN ANY INFORMATION REGARDING VISITORS TO ITS WEB SITE THAT IS NOT VOLUNTARILY PROVIDED BY SUCH VISITORS. HRHCT DOES NOT SELL OR DISCLOSE ANY VOLUNTARILY PROVIDED INFORMATION, EXCEPT UNDER LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY STATEMENT.

HRH provides insurance for various types of student health programs, as well as general insurance to families and businesses. HRH serves its clients by traditional means, as well as over the internet in a reliable and secure way. For questions about Privacy or Security, please contact us by e-mail, telephone, fax or mail. Our offices are open during normal office hours (East Coast time zone) Monday-Friday, except holidays.

All visitors to our home page are anonymous. Visitors may also access this Privacy Policy page and the Terms of Use page anonymously. To access any of the content of this site that is specific to a school, visitors must SELECT their school from a drop down list of choices.

If a visitor chooses to apply online for insurance, they will provide additional information as required by the application. To preview the questions on the application, visitors may download a printable copy of the application for inspection. Any required or optional information that is collected is done so for the exclusive purpose of initiating a process intended to result in the issuance of an insurance policy. No other information is collected about any visitor for any other reason.

To maintain continuity of each session, we assign a unique session number to each session and pass that session number back and forth between the server and the client computer.

All web pages involved in the application process or the delivery of a delayed online quote are transmitted using encryption Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All data submitted to insurance companies and to credit card processing companies is done so by internal mail, conventional mail, or by encrypted electronic messages using SSL. This site is hosted by Network Solutions Inc., in California and is administered by Applied Internet Group, LLC in Vernon, Connecticut. Network Solutions and Applied Internet Group, LLC take numerous precautions to prevent or detect any potential virus infection of the site, but no warranty can be provided that the site is virus free at all times. It is appropriate for visitors to any internet site to regularly utilize virus-scanning software on their personal computer as a precautionary measure.

The only information that HRH collects is information that is provided voluntarily by its visitors, as part of the SELECT school process and the insurance application process. A visitor may come to home page ANONYMOUSLY. Visitors who prefer not to apply on line, may SELECT a school and then download the application for manual completion and delivery to HRH by fax or postal mail.

All information regarding those seeking insurance provided to HRH will be communicated to the underwriting insurance companies.

HRH will be happy, upon your request, to provide you with a copy of the information that HRH maintains with respect to you. After your review of the information, you may notify HRH of any corrections that should be made.

Personal data regarding any visitor or person seeking insurance will be kept in confidence by HRH and will not be sold or shared with any third parties, except that certain of such information will be shared with the underwriting insurance companies, or disclosed as may be required by law or court order. HRH may also provide information to regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies.

HRH does not collect and retain any electronically generated information that identifies a visitor's activity prior to, during, or after visiting the HRH site.
